DBV Caution Free Bonus
Continues in 2008
One of the best programs in MMRA started in 2007 - the DBV Properties
Caution Free Bonus. At every MMRA Touring or Grand National race, it
awards $50 cash to every competitor in the Future Stars feature race if the
full feature race is completed without a caution flag being displayed.
This special award was the creation of DBV Properties founder Donnie
Mingus who wanted to encourage our new drivers to learn how to race clean
and respect each other on the track. His plan worked, as we witnessed
close, respectful racing all year in the Future Stars division. Not
only did it work when there were no cautions, but when someone brought out a
caution, you can bet all the other kids knew who did it - and that driver
made sure not to be the bad guy at the next race.
Now in 2008, the bonus continues - with $50 for Future Stars racers, and
now $100 for Junior PRO Division racers. With 14 Touring and Grand
National races for these racers, there is a lot of money available to reward
clean, competitive racing.
The DBV Properties Caution Free Bonus is unique to MMRA racing, and it is
the best way to help racers learn the right way to race. We appreciate
DBV Properties for their generous support, and look forward to a great year
of close racing in MMRA. |
