“Baby Grands are fantastic race cars, and I believe with the support of MMRA, we will see our numbers double or triple in the next year” stated Alan Currall.  “I’m excited that our racers will now have more recognition for their accomplishments, and as well as racing for their own Liberty Cup championship trophy, they will also be awarded a solid gold MMRA championship ring at the end of the year. With the UK Baby Grands now being sanctioned by the MMRA they are now a true international formula”

Starting in 2006 – Baby Grand racers in England will join a new MMRA PRO European Division and compete against each other for the PRO European Division Championship.  The races will take place at several tracks throughout the UK.

“Baby Grands are such versatile cars, we have proved we can race on short ovals, road courses, and even the huge Rockingham 1½ mile oval” said Currall.  “Anyone who can finish toward the top with such a diverse schedule will be demonstrating true talent.”
