With the extended points season this year, MMRA went looking for a venue
farther south for our West Grand National race. Shasta Raceway Park in
Anderson, California has welcomed us to close out our season with them on
their final weekend of racing in 2009. It is a great location and the
track is excited about seeing our racers compete for championships in three
divisions - Western Future Stars, Western Junior PRO, and Western PRO.
In a "Back to the Future" move, MMRA will also return to our tradition of
holding our year end awards banquet in conjunction with our Grand National
Event. The official hotel for the race is the Gaia Hotel and Spa which
is offering a fantastic group rate for our event. The banquet will be
at the hotel so it will be convenient for everyone to come to the awards
banquet as well.
