The July 4th weekend is a big
weekend for racing and Music City Motorplex chose to feature the MMRA PRO
Division on their NASCAR Friday night program on this important date.
Our PRO Division racers did not disappoint as they put on a fantastic show.
There was lots of clean racing and lead changes which made the fans get up
on their feet. After the race, the track announcer said it best "I've
never been disappointed in a Baby Grand race here." Mark Rouse
continued his strong run toward the title by recording the victory, and
earning the first of several Music City Motorplex guitars for his efforts.
This was a special night for Pennzoil as they sponsor the PRO Division at
MCM, and Tom Griffin and Hunter Goad joined Mark in victory lane to present
the unique trophy. After the race, MMRA tech officals checked the tire
durometer, bore, and compression on the top 3 finishers and all were in
specs.
