BRONSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY - MMRA TOURING
SERIES RACE 1
It was a beautiful day for racing in sunny Florida as the MMRA Touring
series kicked off the 2003 season. Racers from Florida, Indiana,
Kentucky, Virginia, Missouri, and Alabama came to compete for $2,000 cash
and the prestigious Bob Nervo Memorial Trophy. In the end, local racer
David Tullis was victorious in the Open division and Kentuckiana racer
Lindsay Daniels took the Future Stars title. Lindsay's victory also
gave NC Chassis Company a win in their very first MMRA sanctioned race.
After the race, new Tech Director Vic Johnson unveiled the MMRA tech bag
and the chip drawn indicated "Head Tech". As such the top three
finishers had to remove their engine heads for inspection, which all passed.
Cash payouts per the schedule posted by MMRA will be in the mail no later
than March 25 and will also include a gift certificate for all finishers
from Mountain Machine Service.
The next stop on the tour is in two weeks at Riverview Speedway in
Carthage, TN. We hope to see you there!!
