2002 MMRA Nationals Presented by the U.S. Air Force -
Awards
The MMRA Nationals Presented by the U.S. Air Force was the most important
race of the year in minicup racing. We spared no expense in creating
the finest trophies and awards ever won by minicup racers. Thank you
to the racers who came to compete for these beauties. If you didn't
get to see them in person, here's some photos.

Here's all 10 trophies displayed together. There are trophies for
the top five finishers in both the Open and Future Stars division.
First place is just under 5 feet tall and weighs about 35 pounds.
There is not any plastic on these babies - all wood or metal.
Here's a shot of the top 1/2 of the first place Future Stars trophy
which was won by Trevor Jones.
We really liked those eagles clutching a globe.
Every trophy has an engraved plate like this on it. This
particular one is for 5th place in the Future Stars division. As you
can see, we have the logos for both the presenting sponsor and the race
sponsor, along with MMRA.
Here's one of the plaques for the Townsend Racing Products pole award.
The Open Division pole was won by Dillon Oliver and the Future Stars Pole
award went to Frank Kimmel.
Finally, here's the plaque for the winner of the Open division
qualifying race. Sorry for the flash effect. Thank you to
Fireball Race Graphics for this one. It was won by Joshua Herman
