At long last, the videos are finally done.  We appreciate Insight Communications, and all their hard work to capture our sport on video.  Unfortunately, MMRA didn't have the same budget as NASCAR and the videos reflect that.  If you have been hoping to see an ESPN or FOX broadcast of minicup racing, we don't yet have one.

The lighting at Beech Bend Raceway Park was not sufficient for the cameras that Insight had.  As such, the footage from the open class race is fairly dark.  Also, based on budgets and the footage we had to work with, we decided to produce a 1/2 hour show that includes basic information about minicups as well as some highlights of the racing action.  If you were hoping to see all 50 laps of your race, it won't be on the video.  All racers are mentioned and your picture shown on the starting lineups but there wasn't enough money in the budget to "produce" more than selected racing highlights.

Our main purpose in all this was to produce a short promotional video we could show to sponsors who are not familiar with minicup racing.  That effort was a success.  We now have a 9 minute promo tape which takes our best footage and information, and packages it for sponsors.  We can heartily recommend the tape to any regional directors or racers who are looking for something to show to sponsors.  To see the promo video now (via a tiny low resolution picture on your computer) - Click here

Considering that the 1/2 hour show didn't turn out as well as we would have liked, we are keeping the price the same as for the 9 minute promo video.  Both are now available and you can order one or both by sending a check for $20 per video to:
